Ron Merrell

Ron has over 25 years experience with more than 8 of those years at CCS/TranSys. He held various jobs within the CCS organization including being in charge of both the CardPac and Vision21 product lines at different times. Ron wrote most of the assembler sub-routines for all the CCS applications and was responsible for the design and implementation of a major part of the Trams system. Ron is an expert in CICS, Cobol II, and PC development with the CA Realia and MicroFocus products. During the three years he was in charge of the technical design and implementation of Trams, he had significant exposure to the most current development methodologies, attending classes and utilizing such tools as KnowledgeWare during Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions. Ron has recently been involved with writing parsing and compressing routines (Cobol II) for the Visa ISO message formats, as well as several conversions to the PaySys Vision21 AR System.
